Our Courses

GP Rating is a 6-month residential course approved by DG Shipping, Government of India. This program trains candidates in both deck and engine room operations, preparing them for a career in the Merchant Navy.
After completing the pre-sea training, candidates can join as Deck Crew or Engine Crew, gaining practical experience on board for a minimum of 18 months. With the required sea time and successful completion of further examinations, candidates can progress in their careers, ultimately qualifying for higher ranks, including Master Mariner.

  • This training course is designed for candidates aspiring to build a career in the Deck department of merchant shipping, with the goal of becoming Deck Officers or Navigation Officers.
  • Deck crew members play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of a vessel. Their responsibilities include cargo safety, navigation assistance, security, and maintenance tasks.
  • Upon completing the pre-sea training, candidates must gain a minimum of 18 months of sailing experience before becoming eligible to apply for Officer Certificate of Competency (COC) examinations.

  • This training course is designed for individuals aspiring to become Marine Engineers or Engine Officers in the merchant navy.
  • Upon completion, candidates will be equipped to manage and execute maintenance tasks in the engine room and other technical areas of the ship, both independently and as part of a team.
  • To qualify for the Engineer Certificate of Competency (COC) assessments and examinations, candidates must complete a minimum of 12 months of sailing experience after finishing the pre-sea training.
